The enlargement project of the new pediatric center of Florence is characterized by the new greenhouse volume that is conceived as a 'mimetic solution' revealing great sensitivity towards the surrounding natural and built environment. The design introduces an architectural dialog between natural exthernal image and photovoltaic pattern of the glazed curved surface (either PV than normal printed glass on shaded areas).
