The ice rink skating is located in Laufen, in Canton Basel, nearby the railway and the train station. The building is characterized by a timber framed roofing on which a PV plant is installed . Its energetic annual production, that is grid connected, would be sufficient to satisfy about 44 families' demand. The black solar modules are installed on a supporting aluminum substructure creating an homogeneous surface.
